John "Buz" Dotson - Real Estate Broker

Having lived full time in Highlands since 1986, John - better known as “Buz” is intimately familiar with Highlands, Cashiers and the surrounding areas.
Married in Highlands in 1975, he and his wife eventually got the opportunity to move back in 1986 and haven’t looked back!

With leanings toward public service, Buz has served on Boards of numerous local organizations, Town of Highlands Appearance Committee; Chair, Town of Highlands Zoning Board and is currently in his 3rd term as a Town Commissioner.
