An Atlanta native, but wanting out of the rat race, Chuck and his wife decided that the Highlands area was a better place to live than to visit.

They made the move to Highlands in 1998. Both feel privileged to live in one of the most sought after towns in the southeast.

Chuck grew up in the contracting industry in a family business, building custom and spec homes in three counties north of Atlanta. He built his first home in 1985.  In 1992 he was called to duty at a small hardware store called the Home Depot. A manager there for five of seven years, he still bleeds orange!

Years later, Chuck still recalls the Home Depot culture...and knows how to “take care of the customer”
